6th year Wedding Anniversary

With a spoonful of Nutella in one hand and the other hand typing on the keyboard (yeah, it doesn't matter if i have 1 or 2 hands free to type, I'm a slow typer).... I'm trying to remember what we did for our 6th year wedding anniversary..... oh yeah, football game...

Not the most romantic of nights but then... hey! I've been married for 6 years.... what were you expecting. :)

Anyway, the day started off cold, rainy, dreary and a bit windy. We left the kids with their grandparents and off to the stadium.

Parking was good. Not too far from the stadium, but with the ass biting wind and cold rain we were soaked and bone cold by the time we got in line to go inside. After being felt up by a woman the ticket scanner guy tells us that our entrance was on the other side of the stadium where we had to climb a flight of stairs.... remember Rocky on that running on the stairs scene... x2! NO KIDDING!

So we find our entrance.... Aaaaaahhhh.... as soon as they punch your ticket..... hot cocoa (with whipped cream if you wanted) and popcorn. elevator puncher guy for the elevator. Someone takes your coat , or whatever wet thing you came in with, to be hung in the closet... drinks offered and snacks galore. This is the life! I've never had a suite experience like this before. So we parked our butts on chairs and started with the snack (mind you, this was 1 hour before the game)... sausages, potato skins, lobster rolls, cheese platters YUM! .... but, with all that food... no freaking cheese nachos!

Anyway, Game was the best (or the worst... depending on the team you're with). It was 59 Patriots, 0 Titans (they called themselves Oilers that day... throwback day, i guess). Tom Brady and his team was Awesome.... I'm not a very big fan of the guy, but he sure does fill up those tights quite nicely :) For those of you a little confused which team i actually rooted for... i did root for the Patriots, but i will always be a Dallas Cowboy fan.

Oh, and btw, that cold, cold rain turned to snow.... snow in October?! even here in New England , that's rare...

see the snow?

no, that's not an ice rink...

Oh what a night! It was a fun night!
