The Family went to Washington DC last weekend (it was our 2nd road trip to that area). We went there for my cousin Raymond's Graduation at Georgetown (He was 2nd in his class and we are VERY proud of him! Woop!woop!) :) CONGRATULATIONS RAYMOND!!!!!

We also went there to show Andrew the sites of DC (Allie can't really appreciate it yet). We went to the Lincoln Memorial, Museum of Natural History and the Air and Space Museums (one in DC and the other one in Virginia). For a 3 1/2 year old I really think he enjoyed it, especially the airplanes , the animals and dinosaur bones. He also liked pointing out different buildings and "mon-u-wents" like the US Capitol, Supreme court bldg. and the ever popular Washington "mon-u-went".

It was a great weekend! We stayed at the Bartolomes and Andrew loved hanging out with his Tito AJ and Tita Isabella. I just love going on road trips, especially now that Andrew is absorbing practically everything we show and tell him. Allie, on the other hand, not so ready for these long trips. There was a lot of crying in the car and didn't want to go to anyone but Mama and Daddy. This might be our last road trip for now, until Allie is old enough to enjoy it, at least. Or maybe not. There are so many places I want to take them to that a bit of crying in the car would be okay, i guess. Maybe next time less than 8 hours driving time. I guess you really can't blame Allie for being so cranky :) .
